Regular Membership. This is a one-year membership in UCOWF available to all qualified registrants. A Regular Membership in UCOWF is available to anyone involved in or responsible for:
The prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution of welfare fraud; or,
The efforts to determine, quantify and/or recover payments issued as a result of fraud
The one-year membership period begins when payment is received and qualifications verified.

UCOWF-Affiliate Membership. This membership is only available to members of the following affiliated state organizations: ACOWF, CWFIA, ICOWF, MFIA, OCOWF, and WAPAF. Affiliate Members have the same benefits as regular UCOWF members.
Affiliate organizations pay annual Affiliate Member dues. Affiliate members registering for the first time should select this Membership plan but full access will be granted only after affiliate membership is verified and, if appropriate, payment is received from the organization. Affiliate Memberships can only be renewed by an officer of the affiliated state organization.

The United Council on Welfare Fraud (UCOWF) is an organization of investigators, administrators, prosecutors, eligibility workers, and claims and recovery specialists from local, state and federal agencies from the United States and Canada who have combined their efforts to fight fraud, waste, and abuse in social services programs.
